Meet the Mobility Challenge Class of 2017

screen-shot-2016-10-19-at-12-24-35-pmThe Mobility Challenge, led by Movability Austin in partnership with the Thrival Company, is a pledge employers make to create and implement a mobility plan that helps employees reduce drive alone time by 20 percent by the year 2020. Companies that take the challenge get free mobility consultation and help developing a mobility policy from Movability Austin. The challenge started in 2014 in response to increasing congestion and research showing that shifting transportation habits is the only way to tackle increasing congestion.

More than 30 employers are in some stage of the Mobility Challenge. Their reasons for choosing to develop mobility policies and get customized mobility consulting from Movability Austin range from concern over availability of parking to a sense of stewardship for Austin.

And now, a great group of new employers have signed on to participate in the challenge. Introducing the Mobility Challenge class of 2017:
