Keeping the Fun in Fall

screen-shot-2016-09-14-at-1-30-01-pmIt may not feel like it quite yet, but summer is over, and that means football, music festivals, and lots of other fall activities.

But it doesn’t have to mean sitting in traffic!

Headed to Pecan Street Festival, Carnival O’ Pizza, Texas Craft Brewers Festival, or WizardWorld on September 24? Even for Austin, that’s a busy weekend. Skip the stress over parking spots and grab a Capital Metro bus or train ride – MetroRail will run from 10:00am until midnight on that day!

Austin B-Cycle is also a great way to get to those events, and more! B-Cycle will have valet stations set up at both weekends of the Austin City Limits Fest, as well as at home UT games – just grab a B-cycle from any station and ride over to the station at the Bob Bullock Museum. If you’re interested in volunteering to help with the ACL B-cycle valet, you can sign up here for the first weekend and here for the second weekend.

Car2Go also offers drop zones for UT football games and for ACL Fest: on 20th Street between Whitis and University Ave. for UT games, and at 517 South Lamar in the Bicycle Sport Shop parking lot for ACL Fest. A guaranteed free parking spot is a good thing to have for both events!
