Well, we can’t blame you – but spare a minute to think forward to some of the panels you’d like to see come March when SXSW is underway. Capital Metro is hoping you’ll vote for a panel called The Revolution of Transit Innovation.

The panel would feature experts from Capital Metro, autonomous vehicle builder Local Motors, and traffic software company HaCon speaking about current and future transit technologies. Local Motors developed Olli, an autonomous bus, which will also be part of the conversation.

“We’re consistently searching for ways to innovate public transportation, both in the short- and long-term,” says Capital Metro’s blog on the panel. “Recently, we’ve partnered with technology groups to implement solutions – solutions that aim to attract more riders. In addition to our cutting-edge app, we also plan to introduce new Traveler Tools, which will help innovate and improve the Austin transit system.”

In order to have the panel selected, though, Austinites and transportation enthusiasts everywhere will need to vote for it. Learn more and vote here.
