Fall in Love With Your Ride this Fall

Active commuters are more likely to have a positive attachment to their commutes – plenty of research backs up the claims that cyclists are less stressed, healthier, and happier.Screen shot 2015-10-13 at 10.51.20 AM

But everyone has a different reason for choosing to bike for work or play. BikeArlington sought to compile some of these stories as short videos in the Arlington Passages. From the real estate agent that does home tours by bike, to the mom who sets an example of fearlessness and adventure for her family, these personal stories all show how diverse residents love their ride.

Maybe it’s the cooler weather, maybe you’ve taken some inspiration from Arlington cyclists, or maybe you are one of the many hip and fit women who are taking up cycling these days. Whomever you are and for whatever reason you’ve decided to hop on your bike, please share your story on social media – whether you’re a seasoned commuter or trying something for the first time. Pass along the inspiration using the hashtag #LoveMyRide.
